Alexis Blondin
Skier, hiker, content creator
Who am I...
I'm Alexis Blondin, I'm based in Grenoble, Isère (38), Rhône-Alpes.
But I also spend a lot of time in Canada
I'm the creator and main contributor on Ridepark.com.
I was born and raised surrounded by mountains. Skiing quickly became a real passion.
I ski a lot in the Alps : Isère (Chamrousse), Savoie (Valcenis) & in Canada : Castle Mountain in Alberta, but also Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia.
My ski experience...
I was lucky to participate in the circuit of French Cup of skiing Big-Air in the middle of the 2000s.
I made some appearances in ski magazines as an athlete. I also participated in ski tests for the magazine Alpes Loisirs / Ski Chrono.

I was sponsored by important actors in the ski industry for several seasons, including Völkl for skis and Columbia for technical clothing.
I finally had the chance to teach skiing in a ski school and become a coach and Big Mountain judge in the Canadian Rockies (Alberta).
I even made some short ski videos, and several reportages aux Winter X Games.
...and a hiker
Being surrounded by mountains, I often go hiking in the mountains. From day hikes to multi-day hikes with a lot of elevation gain.
But also bivouacs and nights under the stars are also activities that make me vibrate.
Avoir la chance de découvrir la nature dans un environnement aussi unique et immense rend humble et donne envie de parcourir la montagne toujours plus.

Editorial line
The total content available on ridepark.com is original and written internally. The articles are written to share information, news or photos, videos about skiing, hiking and outdoor activities.
Content about equipment
Some articles highlight products, especially buying guides. The products are selected according to my choice and according to personal criteria that make me say that they deserve to be recommended and shared with the readers of ridepark.com.
Most of the products (but not all) are offered via an affiliate platform that gives me a percentage (between 1.5% and 8%) in case of purchase by a visitor. For the moment, these revenues are reinvested in the hosting of the website, the domain name, the purchase of tools necessary to continue the blog's activity, the purchase of products to test, the trips, the ski passes... The list is long!
If you use these links, it's a way for you to encourage me to continue writing quality articles and developing Ridepark further.
Informative contents
These articles cover broad themes, they are found in the «Les bases du ski», «Les bases de la rando», «Vos questions ski» or «Vos question rando» rubrics.
They aim to explain or present themes related to skiing and ski stations.
Ski destination contents
These contents aim to introduce you to interesting skiing spots, sometimes secret, sometimes very popular, with an objective look and if possible original high-quality photos. It's almost like a travel diary in some cases, where the destination is presented from the angle of a road trip, or a day trip.
Why work with me?
Collaborating with me is associating with a passionate skier, hiker and mountain enthusiast.
Thanks to my experience as a competitive skier, instructor, coach, and Big Mountain judge, I have a comprehensive understanding of the mountain world and an extended network in the industry.
Today, my development focus is on product testing.
I seek to produce original content through real product tests. Feet in the snow, with sun, rain or snow.
Tell an authentic story around a product in photos, video and text.
The goal is to be able to convert the story into a motivated purchase by the readers.
As a content creator, I commit to offering my audience relevant, original and authentic articles, based on my own adventures and skills. My goal is to share experiences and advice that inform and inspire.
Transparency guides my editorial approach. The products and destinations I recommend are always chosen for their quality and relevance.
